Our super-soft vegan PIRR CUSHIONS are made from cactus silk from Agave Cacti, and Aloe Vera sourced from the Sahara Desert. The threads are dyed using organic botanical pigments (usually flowers and spices). The artisan uses her free hand and imagination to hand stitch traditional motifs, some intricate and detailed, others bold and geometric. Left to dry under the Moroccan sun, the panels are organically neutralized from their original color to create beautiful, muted, soft tones. Finally, the fabric is burnished to give a sustainable and silky smooth finish.
Any variation of color or detailing is a result of the handcrafted nature of this item and adds to the uniqueness of each piece.
